What is the Bike Knox Celebration?
The Bike Knox Celebration is a collaborative event to honor and celebrate milestone anniversaries of the Heart of Ohio Trail, Kokosing Gap Trail, and the Mohican Valley Trail. The event committee has consisted of community leaders, trail presidents, park representatives and other key stakeholders. This celebration is a free community event, providing an opportunity for guests to engage with trail leaders, connect with the trail community, enjoy activities, giveaways, and food.
What is “Bike Knox”?
Bike Knox is an initiative, led by the Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau, focused on guiding, and educating visitors, cyclists, and the community, on how to navigate the trails, paths, and roads in Knox County. Bike Knox serves the local community through collaborative communication and generates awareness through active transportation initiatives.

Everyone. This is a free, family friendly event.

- 12:00PM- Event Start, check into Information Table to receive door prize ticket
- 1:00PM- Celebration Presentation, presented by Randy Cronk, Kokosing Gap Trail President.
- 3:00PM- Conclusion of Event
Should I bring my bike?
Bikes are not required for attendance, but children are encouraged to bring their bike, and helmet, to participate in the bike obstacle course and for the chance to get a FREE bike “check-up”. Event guests are encouraged to ride to and from event to make for a fun afternoon.
Will I be required to wear a mask?
The event committee will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 protocols at state and county levels. Masks requirements will be determined at a closer date to the event.
