Community Service/Money Making Opportunity

Is your club interested in making some money?  If so, your group might be interested in setting balloons for the Northern Ohio Outlaws.  We currently have the following dates open listed below for both arenas (big and small) at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster Ohio.  To do both arenas efficiently you will need at least 20 people preferably more!

You will need some adults to blow up balloons and put balloons on sticks and will need youth to run balloons to reset after every rider. This is a great fundraising opportunity with the club able to make $1.50 on each rider that makes a run and  a $25.00 amount for a clean up fee.

We will ask you to be please be at the Horse barns at the Wayne County Fairgrounds  (199 Vanover St, Wooster, OH 44691 ) by 8:30 each morning to start promptly at 9:00 AM. We average about 90 riders each day. On Saturday you will be there for a bit longer (but make more money) as we will have 4 extra stages run in the big arena only for rifle and shotgun.

We will have canopy cover tents set up by the barn and one at the small arena. Lots of clubs bring more tents and chairs for their volunteers to use throughout the day so please feel free to bring yours if you would like. There will be an on site food vendor as well, but most other 4-H clubs bring in their own tables and food. Also please remember to bring water for your kids! Also have them dress for the elements we will be running in the rain, sleet, or extreme heat!

Attached NOO-Balloon-Setter-Letter-re6ayu is a letter that explains some more details about the sport and what to expect. Please feel free to reach out to myself Janessa Hill at hill.1357@osu.edu or 330-201-2447 or Carissa Wise at wise.220@buckeyemail.osu.edu if you have any more questions!

We will be in touch closer to time to confirm, but if you could please respond to this email as promptly as you can, we can lock you in for the dates that work best for your club!

Thank you again, we look forward to meeting and working with you guys!

Still need balloon setters for the Wooster Shoots:
