Producers can enroll for MFP payments at their local Farm Service Agency Office between July 29th and December 6th. Payments will be made in three phases with the first phases expected to be released the end of August or beginning of September 2020. The first payment will be the higher of $15/ acre or 50% of the total payment rate. A county payment of $28/acre will have a first payment of $15 and a potential for the 2nd and 3rd payments both equaling $6.50/acre (half of the remaining balance for the remaining two segments.)
