Hotel Accommodations

Hotel accommodations near OSU during the Working Conference may be difficult to find.  There is a huge concert at the state fair grounds that weekend (near OSU) and many of the hotels near OSU are sold out.  However, if you have a car then there are a lot of options if you are willing to travel just a few miles to/from OSU.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the  Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus/Worthington (http://homewoodsuites3.hilton.com/en/hotels/ohio/homewood-suites-by-hilton-columbus-worthington-CMHHUHW/index.html).  The block of rooms is reserved until April 20th.  After that they will release the rooms to the general public.  This hotel is about 11 miles from OSU, the drive by car is about 20 minutes.  We will have a van that will make runs to and from this hotel to the conference.  So, if you will not have a car, please consider reserving a room either in this hotel or one of the hotels very near this hotel.  Please be sure to mention OSU and the Discourse Analysis Conference when you reserve a room as there is a bit of a discount.  If you will be arriving on Friday, May 20 and leaving on Sunday, May 22, please use Code “CDA”.   If you will be arriving on Thursday, May 19, please use Code “CD2”.
