I want to be a successful business man because I dreamed about working in wall street and loved the circumstance that business brings me. By achieving this, I should get a high GPA and find a good internship or recommendation letter from a finance professor. All of these are just the prerequisites to become a business graduate student. So what really important is more practical skills in the society. But, the prerequisite is the stepping stone of entering into the business world. Thus, it is a challenge for me now to get these three things: gpa, internship and the letter.
To overcome these challenges, I should balance my entertaining and study because the most important things for me now is that the time management. So, after reading “ SMART”, I think can make a planner for each things I should do in one days at specific time, which can remind me of is the time do study or have a rest. And also, I can change my focus from general to specific. ( Chastain, 2012) . Because I always to things together not specific which slow down my studying efficiency. Moreover, as for a business major students, there are a lot of things and knowledges need us to learn outside the class. So I should use “relevant” from SMART. By reminding me which information is worth to learn or collect and which is waste of time, it can really improve my analysis of information categorization.
Finally, I think I am person who do not have any time management before I take this class. And the self-assessment accurate represent my self. I think I should improve more and learn more things by this class.
