Learning Online

As for me, I am glad to take this class because I want to get more knowledges about technology. I am a person who do not know much information about technology. For example, my friends always talk about how the latest phones have a special function or some computer system is so fast and I can’t even join their discussion, so I find this opportunity to enhance this area of knowledges. Second, even though it is my own preference to study this courses with regard to technology, it is also necessary to learn things about technology no matter what I think, because the world is growing so fast due to the developing technology. I think, in the future, everyone should learn well to utilize them otherwise we will be out of the world trend.

After reading this week’s article, I get a clear understanding of how to become successful in online class. Like we should stay motivated, create a safe place for studies and know how to ask for help, etc. (Littlefield, 2019). Also, I get the definition of e-learning, which is defined as: any form of Learning that utilizes a network for delivery, interaction, or facilitation.(Long, 2004). Finally, I know the myths of online education which are some bad thoughts for taking online course. For example, “ I Am Online All The Time: This Will Be Easy.” (Globokar, 2010) . I took online course before and I know it is truly wrong. In some extent, online course made me more time and they are more difficult than some of the traditional course. Thus, by reading these articles, I have gained a lot of tips to learn this course well and I will try my best to apply the knowledges I will learn from this course.
