Phillip Da Silva’s Concept Sketch

This concept comes from the idea that the AEV should be symmetrical. Although this lacks many features some of the other designs may have, I believe that there is much room for improvement and development with this concept. It is simple, however, easy to build and maintain, as well as add to if need be.

Michael Gregg’s Concept Sketch

This idea reflects the team’s initial concept of creating something similar to the tram systems at Disneyland. The shape has good aerodynamic design that would be effective in either direction it was heading. The shape itself would be simple to make in solidworks so it seems possible! It might be a little heavy, but it seems safe and efficient.

Anna Cutno’s Concept Sketch

This idea would be successful in completing the scenario because it’s a light, compact way to carry the passengers. Since the vehicle is light, it’s easier for the propellers to move, making it easier to move passengers than if the vehicle was heavy. The propellers are in a spot where it can carry the vehicle can forward and backwards no problem. The battery and arduino can go on the long T side while the arm can balance the T-shaped board near the back of the propellers.

Elle Marquez’s Concept Sketch

This idea for the concept sketch would be ideal because it is very light, has large propellers, and utilizes the large rectangle for a base. The weight of the AEV is ideal because it will easier to move back and forth sine there will be less resistance when traveling. The propellers offer the max power because they are larger and will push more air. The rectangle shape offers balance and an area in the back for the passengers to be picked up while still being balanced with the arduino and battery on either side.
