Team Sketch
This design received the highest weighted score of all designs. It is lightweight, stable, equally aerodynamic in either direction, and easy to maintain. It is not the safest design.
Mike’s Sketch
This design’s strength is in it’s optimized aerodynamics and safety. It is heavier, and would require additional parts to be designed and printed. The capsulated design would cause maintenance to be difficult as well.
Phil’s Sketch
This design is lightweight, balanced, safe, and easy to maintain. It would also be cheap to make. The biggest con is that it is not the safest design.
Anna’s Sketch
This design is similar in weight and movement to the reference AEV. It is lightweight, and safe. The balanced design should prove to be stable as well.
Elle’s Sketch
This design is similar to weight and maintenance to the reference AEV. It has increased stability and aerodynamics, but a slight decrease in safety.

Weight – the total weight of the AEV.
Stability – the overall balance and reliability of the AEV design.
Movement in both Directions – the ability for the design to be aerodynamic in either direction.
Safety – the overall safety of the AEV design.
Maintenance – the ease of access of the design for tweaks and repairs.
