Intro

Welcome! I’m Yu-Lun Wu (吳悠綸), a doctoral candidate in Agricultural Communication. I love agriculture, and my ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between farmers, scientists, and the public through communication.

With the background knowledge of education, communication, psychology, and sociology, I started my career in 4-H education in Taiwan. Then, I applied my extension and communication skills in college extension and college museum. I also provided adult training for information technology startup companies to help them enter the global market.

In the States, I polished my expertise in science communication, public opinion, and intercultural competence at OSU. During the pandemic, I used my strategic communication skills to help my husband run a small business in our garage. We have sold more than 100 refurbished furniture to the local market. I also joined the fantastic Center of Science and Industry (COSI) team as a frontline educator.

In sum, my previous work and research experiences can be categorized into four major domains, including agricultural extension, science communication, museum education, and international education. You can find more about me on this portfolio website ☺

Here are my latest updates for 2024. If you’re interested in my research, you may find some full-text files on my ResearchGate page [link]:
