Innovate Conference 2018

I attended the 2018 Innovate Conference at the Ohio Union on May 11th. Innovate is an annual conference that “brings together educators, administrators, and tech industry professionals to explore recent advancements, best practices and provocative approaches to teaching and learning with technology.” I attended two keynote TedTalk style talks and two breakout sessions in the afternoon during the conference:

2018 Environmental Professionals Network Signature Event

On April 16th, 2018, I assisted with the 2018 EPN Signature event following the ENR 2100 Poster Symposium in the Grand Ballroom of the Ohio Union.

The 2018 Environmental Professionals Network Signature Event explored “sustainability through reinvention” Dr. Nadya Zhexembayeva, Chief Reinvention Officer at WE EXIST Reinvention Agency moderated the event and gave personal experience behind redefining the term sustainable. Sustainability and supply chain professionals from three iconic companies (Patagonia, Owens Corning, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams) shared how they are working to integrate sustainable business models into their companies.
