I am an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Ohio State University. Before I joined the faculty team, I was a postdoc researcher working with Dr. Derek Houston on Babytalk project in the Buckeye Center for Hearing and Development in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Linguistics department at Purdue University in 2015. The title of my dissertation is “Asymmetry of onsets and codas in language acquisition: Implications for phonological theories”. My Ph.D. advisor is Dr. Amanda Seidl from the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. I had a great time working at Purdue Infant Speech Lab.
