Unity passes it’s 1,000,000th job request

Unity has hit a major milestone for its lifetime as a computational resource. It has now reached ONE million jobs completed as of this Sunday 11/25. With a total of 3.4 million hours of computation and 176 researchers using the system since its inception in late 2016.

This past week we have added Dr, Mohit Randeria (Dept of Physics) with 4 nodes with GPUs. Unity has also added 6 new servers from Dr. Ian Howat (School of Earth Sciences).
