Description:

Are you a well-organized student interested in earning course credit while gaining experience in the growing field of ADHD coaching? This course will provide you with 12 hours of training in ADHD coaching in preparation for serving as a peer mentor for other students struggling to stay organized. After training, you will provide 1-2 hours per week of mentoring support per week (a one-hour weekly organizational meeting and follow-up emails and texts to help your mentee stay on track, organized around your own schedule). Jodi Sleeper Triplett, a nationally recognized ADHD coach, will provide the training, which will count towards the 30 hours required for certification in this growing field. If you’re interested in education and working with others, this is a great opportunity. An application is required. Email the instructor at cope.38@osu.edu for more details. Credit is variable (2-3 credits). Students who enroll and receive training in the fall will be expected to enroll in the spring class as well.
