I live in Lorain County and since our Cooperative Extension office does not currently have an active Master Gardener program I’m considering an application to another county’s program but am wondering if I would be able to complete my volunteer hours locally under the auspices of the Lorain County Cooperative Extension office. I’m currently taking a gardening class series taught by John Schoenhals, the agricultural and natural resources educator at our county extension office. He hopes to get our program “active” sometime this year.
Thanks, Lorrie Chmura
Yes, you can complete your hours locally! You do not have to volunteer at Secrest or within Wayne County. We want to make it easy for people to compete their hours.
