About Me

Hello! My name is Abigail Rinderle, and I am an Honors first-year student from Columbus, Ohio. I am majoring in Public Health with the Sociology specialization, and minoring in Public Policy. I am going into public health because it perfectly combines my interests in medicine, societal inequalities, and different cultures. After I graduate, I plan to join the Peace Corps to work as a health volunteer, hopefully in Asia or Africa. After the Peace Corps I hope to go to law school to focus on public health law and policy. Here on campus I am involved in ENCompass, a student organization that works to eliminate disparities between medical care and social care. I also work with a non-profit orphanage that is located in Tanzania, but based here in Columbus. When I am not working or studying, I love to read, play the ukulele and further my search for the perfect veggie burger.
