About the PDA:

The PDA is a volunteer-run organization with the goal of promoting the academic and non-academic career goals of Ohio State Postdocs. All postdocs are automatically members of the PDA, and there is no cost for this membership. The association sponsors multiple events and initiatives each year and for this year, PDA would like to invite you to participate.

Welcome to the VWR Vendor Show, an exciting event designed to bring together various organizations from the scientific and laboratory research community. The primary objective of this show is to showcase the latest advancements in laboratory equipment, supplies, and services while fostering networking and collaboration among industry professionals.

2023 National Postdoc Appreciation Week at Ohio State

National Postdoc Appreciation week celebration has historically been sponsored by the National Postdoc Association (NPA) as a way of recognizing the contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to research and discovery in the United States. Institutions all over the country and even worldwide hold special events in recognition of NPAW.

Take a break from your rigorous academic pursuits to join the in-person and virtual events across campus that have been organized to celebrate the Ohio State postdoc community and to thank you all for your immense contributions to Ohio State’s research, service, and teaching missions.

Our planned events focus on career or professional development, professional headshots, and networking with peers. Below you will find details on events leading up to, during, and after postdoc appreciation week. We look forward to seeing you!

  • Nationwide Children’s Hospital: 700 Children’s Drive, Columbus, OH 43205. Ohio State University provides free shuttle service between the OSU Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s campuses. The shuttle picks up at Ohio State directly behind Rhodes/Doan Hall and leaves at 10 & 40 minutes past the hour. The shuttles start around 7:30 AM and run until 6:10 PM.
