The Elevator Pitch: How to sell yourself and your science in 30 seconds or less
What: Meetings and other events are fantastic opportunities to expand your network of professional contacts, and you usually only have a short amount of time to give a brief but comprehensive description of who you are and what you do. In this workshop-style seminar, we will discuss the basics of an “elevator pitch” which is a 30 second summary that delivers specific information. An elevator pitch can also be a useful conversation starter for the next time you find yourself in an elevator with a Nobel Prize winner!
