Site Visitor Information
Access and Tours
Visitors have the opportunity to view our research wetlands from the Sandefur Observation Pavilion, which is open to the public daily from dawn until dusk. Additional viewing opportunities of the park and its natural setting are available along the Olentangy Bike Trail as well as several paved paths throughout the facilities. Tours of the facility are possible depending on staff availability. Those interested in a tour or additional information can reach ORWRP staff by phone 614-292-0621 or email macolley.1@osu.edu.
Location Directions
The ORWRP is an approximately 52 acre facility located along the Olentangy River, just north of OSU’s main campus. Entrance to the park by car can be found along Dodridge Street near the corner of Olentangy River Road. Visitors can also gain access traveling both North and South along the Olentangy Bike Trail.
