Fulbright Specialist

In 2014, I traveled to Ethiopia on a Fulbright Specialist grant.

The project was in the area of communications and marketing, with a focus on branding, strategy and social media. I conducted a two-week training with participants from two universities, University of Gondar and Addis Ababa University. I also prepared a communications plan for the University of Gondar’s Diamond Jubilee celebration. In total, I was in the country for 4 weeks. It sure seemed to go by fast!

Here’s the presentation I shared with the university’s leadership

Many people ask me about my experiences in Ethiopia. This was my first time in Africa, so it was all an amazing experience.
