We have a few updates for the upcoming weeks of summer sessions. In addition to our normal sectionals before summer sessions, Mark plans to have more personalized sectionals on Wednesday nights. This week, he plans to meet with bass drums from 6-8:30. Next week, he plans to meet with snare drums at the same time. Sections not involved are still welcome to attend and have separate sectionals. This will be discussed further on Tuesday.

Dates for Tenors and Cymbals will be decided soon.
If you are considering trying out on one of these instruments, even though it’s not your current instrument, you are still welcome to come and learn!

As summer sessions approach, we have a few announcements concerning sectionals.
- There will be no sectional for the first summer session. Report is 6:30 but come early to get a drum.
- There will be percussion mini-camps during the summer session focus weeks. These camps will be on July 11th and August 1st from 12:30 to 5 pm.
We hope to see you on June 5th for the first session!
Due to Ohio State’s final exams, our originally planned sectional has been cancelled.
Thanks for a great spring full of drumming and we are excited to pick it back up this summer! Keep playing!

April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

It’s time to start preparing for the upcoming season with spring sectionals! These sectionals are a great chance for current and potential members to get a head start on the playing aspect of the marching band. We welcome players of all abilities, high school through college considering trying out for The Ohio State Marching Band. Here is the schedule and location for the month of March.
Dates: March 7th, 21st, 28th: 7 – 9 p.m.
