Fun, free, hands-on science ignites a passion!
October 21, 2015 for grades 6-8
The Science of Agriculture is a fun, free, hands-on educational program designed to ignite students’ excitement and passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. 2015 will be the 14th year we have hosted this program on our Wooster campus.
All sessions are aligned with Next Generation Science Standard (NGGS) core progressions. As a result, this workshop becomes an interactive tool for teachers as they transition their curriculum to align with NGSS. It also provides a hands-on opportunity for students to create and foster an interest in science early in the school year. Ohio State faculty, staff and collaborators are working with experts in science education to ensure this program best meets the educational needs of your students.
