Undergraduate Summer Scholars Program

Interested in attending graduate school?  This Summer Scholars Program is for undergraduates interested in the Ph.D degree in the Biological or Biomedical Sciences and for students with a potential interest in attending graduate school at the University of Rochester.  It’s a 10-week paid program where students develop an independent research project, attend research seminars, participate in GRE prep courses and learn how to discuss scientific research with a community of graduate students and professors.

MBL summer courses

Now that Fall semester is almost over, it’s time to start thinking about summer plans!  The Marine Biology Laboratory has many hands on laboratory courses to strengthen your lab hands, meet the leading scientists in the field and gain a deeper understanding of the techniques available for your project.  They have many courses available for undergraduates and graduate students interested in many fields- from neuroscience, environmental science to host-microbe interactions.  Application deadlines are coming up so check it out soon!
