About Me

I am an Associate Professor of Sociology and am affiliated with Translational Data Analytics, the Criminal Justice Research Center, and the Mershon Center. I received my PhD in Sociology from the University of Arizona in 2012. Before that, I earned my MA in Sociology and my BA in Sociology and Philosophy in 2007 and 2005, respectively, from Kent State University. My research interests are in Social Networks, Group Processes, Computational Modeling, Stratification, and Theory.

Beginning July 2019, I will be co-editing Sociological Methodology with Mike Vuolo.
