OSUWexnerbloglogo2014 Our On-line Enduring Material Education Teaches on Contraception. Currently, 16% of all American women of childbearing age take birth control pills. But one of the biggest problems with birth control pills is that you have to remember to take them and because of that, the actual effectiveness of oral contraceptive pills in preventing pregnancy is not nearly as good as the theoretic effectiveness. But the good news is that there are now great new options for women and for many women, these options are more effective and safer than traditional birth control pills. In this on-line Enduring Material, to update us on contraception is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Katherine Rivlin.
