OSUWexnerbloglogo2014 CME Webcast Teaches on Common Knee Complaints. Osteoarthritis is extremely common with over 32 million adults suffering from the condition. The knee is one of the most affected joints for OA and knee pain is a very frequent complaint in primary care. On this CME webcast, we’ll be discuss two common knee complaints, Osteoarthritis and Meniscal Root tears. Our first guest is Dr Michael Baria who is a Sports Medicine expert at Ohio State University. He is the director of sports orthobiologics and serves as the team physician for Ohio State Wrestling. He’ll take us through the use of newer treatment knee OA, Platelet rich plasma and conservative versus surgical approach for meniscal root tears. Also, joining us is Dr John DeWitt. John is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center specializing in sports and orthopedic PT.
