Congratulations to all of our nutrition and miscellaneous finalists! Click here to view the complete.
Our finalists are strongly encouraged to exhibit their projects in the 2018 Outstanding Nutrition and Miscellaneous Project Show on Monday, July 2, the Marion County Fair. The show is FOR DISPLAY ONLY AND NOT FOR JUDGING PURPOSES. It is a chance for those attending the fair to view the outstanding 4-H nutrition and miscellaneous projects.
***Important*** All projects must be exhibited in your 4-H club project booth or the open booth during the entire fair. If you do not have your project displayed in the club or open booth, you will not be allowed to participate in the Outstanding Nutrition and Miscellaneous Project Show. You will also not receive any recognition, placings, or state fair honors with these projects. All booth exhibits must be in place by Saturday, June 30.
Your display for this show should be whatever it was that you took to judging. Check in your display between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. and it may be taken down at the conclusion of the King and Queen Coronation. Your display must be returned to your 4-H project booth at the conclusion of the King and Queen Coronation or by noon on Tuesday, July 3. Once your exhibit is checked in, you don’t have to stay with it. The exhibits will be guarded, but I would not recommend leaving any valuable baskets under the table.
For those classes eligible for State Fair, you must exhibit at the show to participate in the state fair. All participants will be introduced and recognized Monday evening, following the Style Revue at approximately 8:00 p.m. State Fair winners will also be announced at this time.
Again, congratulations on your outstanding project work and good luck at the fair.
