About Innovative Spaces

If you’re here, it’s likely you saw our announcement in OnCampus, on the ODEE site, Twitter, Yammer, or some other social media. Regardless of where you came from, welcome! If you’re wondering what this is all about, check out the home page and head over to the FAQ for a quick rundown of what the Innovative Spaces Program is all about.

If you’re not familiar with OSU’s Office of Distance Education and eLearning, the about page of our site does a good job of breaking it down:

Our team is passionate about the role technology can play at Ohio State. We love what we do.  Our mission is to provide students on and off campus with an enriched educational experience for a lifetime of learning through technology-ready classrooms, centralized learning systems, innovations in technological pedagogy, and distance education opportunities. To learn more about what we do, take a look at our strategic plan.

We’re excited to kick off this new initiative and continue to work with the awesome faculty at Ohio State. If you’re interested in active learning, we encourage you to apply to teach in an Innovative Space for Autumn 2015. Just make sure you get everything in before the deadline, October 31, 2014.
