What is the Innovative Spaces Program?
The Innovative Spaces Program is a campus-wide initiative to foster transformational teaching and learning in Ohio State’s innovative classrooms. By providing targeted access to spaces designed for active learning, this collaboration between ODEE, the Office of the University Registrar, and the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching (UCAT), encourages greater focus on active learning pedagogy and more deliberate utilization of physical classroom spaces.
Instructors accepted into the program are granted priority scheduling in an Active Learning Classroom, 1-on-1 technology training, and professional development opportunities, including ODEE/UCAT workshops.
