Abbey graduated in 2018 with a B?S in Anthropological Sciences and a minor in Design. With a focus in museum studies and exhibit design, my undergraduate studies covered the practice, methods, and content of informal science education. I am continuing my education at The University of the Arts as a part of the MFA Exhibition Planning + Design program, after which she plans to go into a career in exhibit design for science and natural history museums.
For her undergraduate honors thesis she designed Evolved, an interactive exhibition on human evolution that invites people of all ages and levels of science experience to explore and learn about how human evolution works and impacts their own lives. The project is continuing through the APOP program and will be developed into a traveling exhibition for local museums and libraries.
