November 4, Saturday 9am – 12pm.
Location:  269 Arps Hall

The Fall 2017 Midwest Interactive Symposium invites you to join us to explore how our regular activities shape us as Christ followers in academia. The multi-campus symposium live symposium will focus on the theme Meeting Jesus in the Ordinary Academic Life: Practices that Pave the Way. It will take place live and online via Zoom.

Presenter:  Tish Harrison Warren, Anglican priest, speaker, writer and author of Liturgy of the Ordinary, IVP, 2016.

Further details to be here at a later date. It will be a cluster-conference to gather colleagues from six campuses across four states to learn from, dialogue with, and engage one another using dynamic technology.

Theme: You Are The Light

Our theme verse for the academic year 2017-18.

And Jesus said to them (and by extension us, those who work at The Ohio State University)
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.”
“No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”  Matthew 5:14-16 New Living Translation

Consider its meaning in your life, in your world.  Let us know what you think.
While the supply lasts we have a free gift for you (a reminder of our calling each day at OSU). Click this graphic and send us your contact information.
