It is with great excitement that we invite youth ages 8 (an in 3rd grade) to 14 to join us for the 2019 Clermont / Hamilton County 4-H Camp! This year’s theme is “rodeo,” and will be held June 7-11 at 4-H Camp Graham, located in Clarksville, Ohio. Counselors have been working hard for several months to plan a fun-filled week that campers are sure to love!
Both 4-H members and non 4-H members are invited to attend. The cost is $260 for 4-H members and $285 for non 4-H members. Camp is a great opportunity for youth to enjoy the great outdoors, learn responsibility and decision making as well as create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Learn about life in another culture and learn about making a difference at 4-H Global AgriCULTURE Camp, from June 10-14. Youth entering grades 8, 9 and 10 will spend three days at OSU discovering how agriculture can impact global food issues, then travel to Howell, Michigan for an experience at the Heifer Global Village. A Camp Like No Other
The ExploreAg program is a week-long experience where high school students interact with and learn from internationally known teachers, scientists, and researchers. Students are hosted on campus at the Ohio State University and Central State University and are introduced to various aspects of agriculture both in the classroom and through diverse hands-on learning experiences, both on and off campus. Ohio 4-H Special Needs Camp at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp in Jackson – July 27-29, 2018
This Camp is available for those young people who have unique needs that cannot be accommodated at our traditional Camps. Campers bring a caregiver with them for the weekend.
There are also opportunities available to serve as Counselors for this Camp. Applicants must be current Counselors in their county programs. We do provide approximately 10 hours of on-site, Camp specific training, but Counselors should have the remainder of their training completed in their counties. The application is attached and is due April 2nd (due to the weekend).
Registrations are due July 2nd.
