Title: Co-Planning and Co-Teaching in the Student Teaching Internship with Hybrid-Delivery Trainings for Cooperating Teachers and Teacher Candidates
Abstract: Demands on teachers and students’ needs have increased in the age of accountability and diversity. Co-planning and co-teaching (CPCT) during student teaching is an approach to meet these demands and ensure student learning. The most effective approaches for training in Co-Planning and Co-Teaching will be investigated.

Title: Experience of Adolescents Participating In Operation: Military Kids (OMK)
Abstract: Individual interviews were conducted on 11 military adolescents to answer questions related to family life and experiences with support programs. This research is qualitative and codes for repeating themes. Findings will inform support programs and contribute to literature.

Title: Dating In Rural America: A Comparison Of High School And College Students
Abstract: This study addressed the paucity of literature on friends with benefits relationships (FWBRs) and sexual risk behaviors among rural high school (HS) and college youth. Almost half of HS youth reported FWBRs with FWBRs linked to more sexual risk behaviors. Rural youth had similar FWBR rates to urban youth. Clinical implications are provided.

Title: What Determines Households’ Retirement Savings After the Great Recession?
Abstract: Determinants associated with households’ retirement funds after the great recession around 2008 are studied using data from the 2010 Survey of Consumer Finances. The amount of retirement funds is found to be positively associated with age, age-squared, income, married households, risk tolerance, and head-of-household’s health and level of education.

Title: The Development of the Basic Statistical Knowledge Test (BSKT)
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop an instrument that assesses graduate students’ knowledge of basic statistical concepts. The instrument is intended to be an advising tool for faculty and a decision tool for students, but it can also be used by instructors to gauge the statistical background of their students.

Title: Small-Group Language and Literacy Instruction in Early Childhood Classrooms
Abstract: This study examined the extent to which early childhood educators use small-group literacy instruction in the classroom, and examined four factors that were hypothesized to predict educators’ use of small-group literacy instruction. Analyses found limited use in early childhood classrooms; two of the four hypothesized factors were significant.

Title: School Climate and Risky Behaviors Among Rural Adolescents
Abstract: The researchers sought to determine if rural high school students’ positive school climate decreased their likelihood of engaging in risky behaviors. Results suggest that the Relationships dimension of school climate decreases this likelihood, and that students who feel less safe and are in 9th grade are at a greater risk of victimization.

Title: Validation of a Talking Pedometer for Adolescents with Visual Impairments in Free-Living Conditions
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of a talking pedometer for adolescents with visual impairments in free-living conditions. The findings suggest that the Centrios talking pedometer provides accurate step-counts. Talking pedometers allow individuals with visual impairments to track physical activity and enhance independence.

Title: Psychometric Evaluation of Math Anxiety Scale – Based on PISA 2012
Abstract: This study aims to investigate the measurement invariance of Math Anxiety Scale across cultures, using the Rasch model. Data and samples were drawn from the international student assessment – PISA 2012. Information was collected from 15-year-old secondary school students in five regions. Item difficulties, fitness indices and reliabilities will be compared across cultures.
