In my first semester as a college student I had a considerable learning curve. I performed well in high school and I did not need to study very long if at all for my classes, obviously this did not transfer over to college classes very well. After receiving my first midterm scores I realized that I needed to quickly figure out better time management, and effective study skills to improve my academic performance. Utilizing campus resources and evaluating my daily schedule allowed me to improve my studying habits and overall scores throughout the semester.
