Artifacts

[Artifacts are the items you consider to be representative of your academic interests and achievements. For each entry, include both an artifact and a detailed annotation.  An annotation includes both a description of the artifact and a reflection on why it is important to you, what you learned, and what it means for your next steps.  For more guidance on using your ePortfolio, including questions and prompts that will help you get started, please visit the Honors & Scholars ePortfolio course in Carmen. About Me

My name is Mary Catherine, and I am a first year undergraduate student in the Health Sciences Scholars Program. I am from Buffalo, New York, and I am a biology major. In the future, I hope to attend medical school at the University at Buffalo and become a physician. I spent the past year shadowing various doctors and spent many months shadowing a neurosurgeon at UB neurosurgery. This exposure to the field made me very interested in possibly becoming a neurosurgeon or neurologist. I am excited to get involved here at OSU and hopefully find clubs and activities related to science and community service. Outside of the classroom I love to read, explore cities, and spend time with my friends and family.
