Career Closet – Donate Today

Career Closet donation bins are now out.

Please consider donating your gently used professional clothes and shoes to Student Life Career Closet. All donated clothes will be used to provide a closet where students in need can “shop” for free professional attire.

Donations will be accepted through September 5 and can be dropped off at the Agricultural Administration Building Lobby, Ohio Union Great Hall, Younkin Success Center 2nd floor, 101 Bricker Hall, Gerlach Hall, Wexner Medical Center located at 660 Ackerman Road, and the Office of Advancement located at 1480 West Lane Avenue.

Seize the Summer Celebration Event August 16
After a summer of adventuring, you are cordially invited to put everything you learned during the Your Plan for Health challenge to practice! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 16, and join us for a celebration on the South Oval from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a variety of activities that embrace all five challenge themes – Move, Think, Feel, Find, Create. Try samples from local food vendors and most importantly, have fun! This event brought to you in partnership between YP4H, Buckeye Wellness and the OSU Health Plan. Click here for more information.

Workplace Violence Awareness online learning module
As part of a comprehensive prevention and awareness effort to enhance the safety and wellbeing of our community, the university has revised its learning module “Workforce Violence Awareness” in BuckeyeLearn. This recently updated 15-minute online course is available to all students, faculty and staff. The course follows the university’s Workforce Violence Policy, which applies to the entire Ohio State community. There is also an additional 15-minute online course available for faculty and staff supervisors.

Inaugural OSU Extension Internship Program Exhibition

CFAES Supervisor Training

Effective supervision can be one of the greatest factors in the success and development of your unit and its employees. Whether you’re new to supervision or have years of experience, there are constantly new challenges to handle, but also no better feeling than when you help your staff to excel! This training will focus on core competencies of effective supervisors, how to conduct a fact finding, when to reach out to human resources, as well as addressing common concerns or trouble spots for supervisors.

In Columbus:

September 6, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In Wooster:
August 30, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Active Bystander and Implicit Bias Trainings – Zoom Is Available
