Nanoscience Research Opportunity

The Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) invites applications from Professor-Student Teams from four-year colleges and universities to become engaged in research during the summer of 2018.

Research areas include:

  • Functional magnetoelectric materials and interfaces
  • Molecular-level magnetoelectrics
  • Polarization-enabled functional materials and properties
  • Low-dimensional molecular ferroelectrics

Professors will receive a summer stipend of $5,000/month for up to two months of full-time commitment, and each student will receive $500/week plus room and board for up to 10 weeks of commitment to their project. Up to 2 students per team can be supported.
