CWRU Chemistry PhD Virtual Info Sessions

The Department of Chemistry will be hosting two virtual information sessions for students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Students who attend one of these information sessions will receive an application fee waiver.

Tuesday, November 9 at 11am EST
Thursday, November 11 at 8pm EST

The sessions will be hosted by CWRU Chemistry faculty members, who will give an overview of the program, research conducted by the department, and details on how to apply.

PiNO Poster Competition and Career Fair

Calling all undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctorate students from all science and engineering programs to attend Case Western Reserve University’s Polymer Initiative of Northeast Ohio (PiNO) poster competition and career fair on June 15, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio. PiNO is a one-day job fair and conference that allows students seeking internships, co-ops, or full-time employment to present posters, network with industry representatives, and win cash prizes.

The Polymer Initiative of Northeast Ohio attracts industry from all STEM fields, not just polymers. This conference is geared towards, but not limited to, students in the following fields: macromolecular/polymer science and engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and materials science and engineering. Registration is $10 for students, researchers, and young professionals.

Molecular Medicine PhD Program

Have you considered a research career in graduate school?  
Deadline: January 1st 2018  
In this program, you will get a Research Thesis Advisor and a Clinical Mentor who will help design an independent study or “Clinical Experience,” in addition to core coursework. All course work is completed in the Lerner Research Institute on the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic. You get to choose rotation and thesis mentors from a  faculty in research departments at both the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University campuses.
