Interested in Grad School? This year’s Graduate and Professional School Expo will be on Tuesday, September 10, from 12:30 – 4 p.m. at the Ohio Union in the Ballroom. This event held by Career Counseling and Support Services will give students the opportunity to meet with more than 100 graduate and professional schools from across the country. It also gives students the chance to explore their options and gather useful information regarding careers and Graduate School.

Applications are now open for the Undergraduate Research Scholarship and the International Research Grant. These scholarships will award funds of 500-6,000 dollars. The awards are to be used to meet tuition costs, but remaining balances will be issued to the recipients. You do not need to be a member of the Arts and Sciences Honors Program to apply for these scholarships. However, special consideration will be given to applicants who have research distinction or honors research distinction.

If you need to complete community service hours or want to give back to the Columbus community, consider joining Scientific Thinkers! Scientific Thinkers is a student organization at OSU dedicated to mentoring minority students who are interested in STEM. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your leadership skills as well as gain experience in teaching STEM material. The Office of International Affairs will be hosting the 2019 Education Abroad Expo on Thursday, September 12 from 2 – 6 p.m. This will be located in the Archie M. Griffin East Ballroom in the Ohio Union.
At this event there will be experts available for students to talk to about studying abroad. There are over 100 programs exclusively offered to Ohio State students. The Education Abroad Expo is the perfect chance for students to learn about all the study abroad opportunities offered at Ohio State to students of all majors.

The Chemistry & Biochemistry club invites all students and faculty in the department to enjoy Grater’s ice cream together at the Mirror Lake Amphitheater (Browning Amphitheater) on Thursday, August 22 between 3:00pm and 5:00pm!
