Outreach

We have recently developed materials to educate consumers on how to optimize nutrients and phytonutrients in local produce. This project was made possible by funding through OSU CARES – an initiative of OSU Extension and OSU to expand faculty, staff and student partnerships with communities throughout Ohio. Fourteen materials have been developed and are being distributed at Ohio farmers markets. The materials were evaluated by farmers market consumers and were peer-reviewed by OSU Food and Consumer Sciences.
