Chance is from Gahanna, Ohio, but grew up living between the United States and King Island, Australia. Chance is a first generation college student excited to help others like him. He is currently a Business major and is also pursuing a minor in Professional Writing. This is his fourth year at OSU Newark, and he holds an Associate’s Degree in liberal arts from OSU. Chance enjoys practicing martial arts, which he has studied for the past seven years at a local dojo in Sunbury.  He also enjoys fencing on Newark campus and can be found frequently at the ping pong table in Warner. He will happily teach the basics of both sports to anyone wanting to learn. When he graduates, he plans to buy his first home within a few months of being hired. Chance is still deciding if that home will be in the United States or Australia.


Ashley is from Pataskala, Ohio where she graduated from Watkins Memorial High School. She is currently pursuing a psychology degree in her junior year at the Newark Campus. She is passionate about student success, and helping others. Ashley loves hiking, playing with animals, and volunteering within the community. Currently, she is involved in several organizations including: a women empowering mentorship through Women2Women, a Development and Marketing committee at Behavioral Healthcare Partners, a Junior Advisory Board working with young individuals who have developmental disabilities at Lifetown Columbus, and a volunteer at Hope Farm which specializes in assisted equine riding for those with disabilities. Despite the busy schedule Ashley keeps, she manages to make time for her academics, family, and friends. After receiving her bachelors at Ohio State, Ashley plans to go on to grad school to pursue a profession that specializes in changing lives.

Niall is from Newark, Ohio where he graduated from Newark High School. He is in his second year here at Ohio State and is pursuing a degree in Romance Studies. Niall really enjoys the arts, being involved both the Music and Theater programs in high school. He is very creative and loves to find ways to incorporate new and fun ways to learn into everything he does. He is also a member of the STEP Program, a program dedicated to helping second year students prepare for life after university. After he graduates, Niall hopes to begin work as a translator and hopefully move somewhere a little warmer.
