linked in pictureDr. Ana C. Berríos Allison is a licensed professional counselor in the  state of Ohio. Her experience in higher education includes, career counseling, individual and group counseling, suicide prevention, and adjunct teaching in the Counseling Education Programs at The Ohio  State University and University of Dayton. Her counseling interests relate to the influences of family dynamics in career decision-making, career and wellness, career transitions, spirituality, as well as multicultural counseling. Ana has published and presented in numerous conferences about career counseling among various clients and special populations.

Dr. Berrios Allison served in the Ohio Career Development Association Board (OCDA) and has been recognized for her cultural activism and at the state level as the recipient of different leadership and counseling awards, including the Ohio Counseling Association (OCA) Charles  “Chuck” Weaver Award.  Additionally, Ana is a Paulist Associate who provides spiritual direction and volunteers at the OSU James Care for Life co-facilitating career counseling for cancer survivors and Latino patients.

Dr. Berríos Allison holds a part-time Assessment Specialist position with Career Counseling and Support Services at The Ohio State University. She has a B.A and a Licentiate in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a M.A and Ph.D. from the Counselor Ed. Department at The Ohio State University.
