Chainsaw Safety Course will be offered by Hocking College and OSU Extension on November 16th

We have finalized plans for a chainsaw safety course on Saturday, November 16th at Hocking College.

This is a great opportunity to learn from the pro’s and get hands on training. Each participant will have the opportunity to fell a tree.

Date:  November 16th, 2013 (registration deadline November 12th)

Location: Hocking College Fleet Garage (Auto Petro Center) which is located at approximately:

15477 SR 691, Nelsonville, OH

 

Cost: $150 per person

  1. Chainsaw safety is the best thing you need to find out before run a chainsaw. Too many people buy a chainsaw without understanding the risks of chainsaw. There are things you can do to avoid accidents, but it needs some attempt and studying about the chainsaw.

  2. Hey there! I tottaly agree with what John Williams says.
    Here are some rules that i learnt while searching for informations about chainsaw.
    • Never work alone.  Also make sure that someone knows where you are working and when you are expected to return.
    • Do not operate a chain saw while standing on a ladder.
    • Never “Air Drop-Start” a chain saw.
    • Never park your vehicle directly below where you are working, no matter the distance…
